All my babies are special. However every so often there comes along an extraordinarily special little Maltese.  Lucca is one of those. He is loved by all who come in contact with him. Lucca means, in Italian, "light or inspiring". Lucca certainly lives up to his name.  As the breeder, he was in my care for 13 weeks before he went to his new home.  Lucca had his first birthday in February, 2008.                                

He has very loving and devoted "parents" who chose his name.  They have kindly kept me up to date with photos and his progress throughout the year.

Lucca weighs 2.8 kgs. He is highly intelligent and he has his devoted owners trained very well. He goes for regular walks; he attends puppy day care on a weekly basis which gives him the opportunity to socialise with other dogs. This Christmas was Lucca's first.

Lucca was born in early February, 2007 and was one of three boys. His siblings have also gone to very loving homes. Lucca was a joy from the day he was born. He nursed from his mother and slept until his eyes opened and soon he started to walk. From that day on he did not stop.
